“When selecting our chosen charities for 2021/2022 we wanted to focus on causes which are deeply relevant for the student body. We know that youth mental health is a key area which young people today are keen to support. We also felt that youth homelessness was a cause to which it was important to draw the student body's attention since these issues are affecting those similar in age to ourselves. On an international scale we wanted to support the provision of wider educational opportunities since we have all been privilidged regarding our access to education thus far and so it feels right that we should support these opportunities for other young people.”
